COMMUNITY

An Event About Place Should Be Accountable to Place.

The Nantucket Edit was created to celebrate fashion while contributing to the island that makes the weekend possible.

ECONOMIC IMPACT

Extending the Season With Intention.

By bringing guests to the island in October, The Nantucket Edit can support hotel stays, restaurant reservations, retail traffic, local transportation, creative vendors, event professionals, and cultural venues beyond the traditional summer peak.

This is not incidental to the event’s purpose. The success of the weekend should be visible not only in photographs and ticket sales, but in the businesses and people who benefit from its presence.

People walking along a sidewalk lined with shops, including one with a sign for 'The Dress Code' featuring a pink dress icon. Trees and greenery are visible, and some shop windows display clothing items.

LOCAL RETAIL

Keep the Island in the Edit.

The retail program is designed to direct guests toward Nantucket businesses through official shopping guides, trunk shows, store events, appointments, designer collaborations, and extended weekend programming.

Wherever practical, local suppliers, venues, creatives, hospitality teams, and production resources will be considered first.

WOMEN’S HEALTH

Investing in Women on Nantucket.

A portion of proceeds from The Nantucket Edit will support women’s health programming on the island.

Built for Nantucket. Built for the Community.

REPEAT BUSINESS. NEW RELATIONSHIPS. MEANINGFUL SUPPORT.

A successful first year should create more than a weekend of attention.
